Vintage & classic BENJAMIN FRANKLIN MODEL 342 AIR RIFLE in. Still in very good overall condition for age, but does NOT appear to hold air when stroked, and will certainly need to be re-sealed. (Easily done) The original Walnut stock and "Tootsie Roll" for-end are undamaged & still have 99.9% original finish. Only a few small nicks & dings visible in wood on this beauty.

NO cracks, splits, or unsightly repairs to wood. Metal (bronze) has taken on a gorgeous, dull gold patina, with blued rear sight, safety, trigger guard, and trigger assembly parts. (See Photos) Fresh from Estate, this Model 342 appears to be an early model, based on style and accoutrements.

The left side of bronze receiver reads: "BENJAMIN FRANKLIN"... And carries serial number "63336". Please review the photos carefully and you be the judge as to exact age & current condition for your intended purposes. Definitely on of the better preserved Model 342's we have come across in a long time.

These are usually quite thrashed after decades of young men! (See Photos) Cocks and releases the sear correctly. Push type "on / off" safety at back end works as designed. Both front & rear sight blocks are of classic'back-swept style. The rear sight assembly is all there & functional, though missing one of two (2) tiny screws.

Pump lever operate correctly when stroked, smooth & undamaged. Rifle does NOT hold air when stroked... But that's about it! Vintage & classic BENJAMIN FRANKLIN #342 Air Rifle for collectors & aficionados. Get it while you can..
