Early 1950s Anschutz German made Egyptian Hakim 22cal Pellet Air Training Rifle

  

Up for sale is a very unusual early 1950s German Anschutz. 22 caliber single shot pellet rifle.

It was made for the Egyptian government in the size, weight and appearance of its Hakim semi-auto rifle. It was built to weigh the same as the real gun with 10 rounds of ammo. As a result, the gun weighs a bit over 10 pounds. The Egyptian government wanted the recruits to be trained how to handle the real gun, but not to be able to shoot at the officers! Not a lot were imported and many that were were in poor condition with broke or missing parts. This gun is in great shape for its age and use. Missing only the sling swivels.

Stock shows use, but has no cracks or missing pieces. It is also a great shooter.

Bore is in very good shape. It prefers the RWS German heavy weight pellets.
