Crosman vintage Model 761 XL. 177 Cal Rifled Barrel, First Variant- works - Nice looking- from 1973- s/n is 00024233, Front barrel guide is marked 4 3.

A nice fitting 1400-023 partially ribbed "C" Butt Plate (better looking /more character- IMO) has replaced the al. L ribbed 108-032 Butt Plate. Also a previous owner has engraved their 11 digit ID# on the bottom of the receiver. There are 3 oxidation spots on the right half of the barrel just ahead of the front barrel guide. Pictures are part of the description & reflective of AS IS condition.

Otherwise, has all the correct parts, that make this a "first variant" Model 761 XL: Front sight hood, all the First Variant Inners including- 761-008 Tube Hold Down Screw, (it is not missing one of the receiver screws, it only has this weird looking one from the right side of the receiver [761-1A] & a hole on the left receiver [761-2A]), 761-010 Sear Block Stop lg, 761-011 Cross Pin, 130-077 Rubber Bumper Pad, 761-012 Hammer Stop thin, 1400-001 Rear S. Ight with1930-018 Rear Sight Adjustment Assembly. 99-064 Metal Rear Sight Elevator & more. Not a very common BB/ Pellet Gun in this condition (usually the stocks & forearms are chipped up) & working, now 1 pump a puff, 10 pumps gives a nice crack & it sends a pellet 50 yards to an old wheelbarrow providing a nice "clunk" too.
