BSA Light Pattern. 177 Air Rifle vintage circa 1920's

  

This is a Birmingham Small Arms light pattern air rifle in. It has an adjustable trigger and the screws show little tooling marks.

The stock is sound with light superficial chipping on the acute edges in the hand region. There is light surface rust scattered on the body of the gun. Overall it is a good specimen, certainly for the US. One could find cleaner, mint condition examples in the UK.... Anyway, there are light acid etching on the body of the rifle that can barely be seen in the right light. The air rifle shoots well.
