I ran maybe 10-15 pellets through it, just enough to sight in the scope so this rifle still needs to be broken in. Recommended to shot up to 100 shots before seeing the rifle level off and for the cocking action to smooth out. This Diamondback is powerful yet pretty quite so I had no issues shooting it in my city back lawn.
