VTG 1997 Benjamin (Crosman) Blue Streak C9A 5mm. 20 Caliber Pellet Rifle Air gun

  

Here is a nice Newer Older Benjamin (produced by Crosman) C9A. 20 Cal 5 MM Blue Streak Multi-Pump Pellet Rifle.

This one is a Phase 2 gun and has the Beavertail forearm. It was made in September 1997 Right after they started using the new Trigger pack associated with the phase 2 model. It came to me as it is except the Scope and mounts. I did give it a shot of oil and because it didn't have a rear sight I put the scope and mounts that I had on it.

The scope is a Tasco 4 power fixed with a decent reticle, nothing special just something I got on a rifle somewhere along the way. The Velocity results shown were gained using a top of the line Garmin Radar using Benjamin Sheridan 14.3 cylindrical pellets shot at 12 yds just over 10 meters indoor. The target is what I shot beginning with a newly mounted scope and dialing it in (All 12 rounds hit).

Everything went as it should, the scope adjusted like it should and I wasn't the steadiest I have ever been. The bolt head does hit the scope but opens up enough to pull and there is enough room for a finger to slide in (I have small fingers) and pull it back. Its not optimal but closes fine and is a OK working situation. During the photos I did notice it is missing one of the screws from the Cam Cover (I may have this corrected before it sells) and the front and back woods don't match very well in color. The front forearm may have been replaced. The wood on this one is decent for a 27 year old gun with nothing that isn't normal wear and tear that I saw. It doesn't look like it has been shot much. It will make the new owner a fine lifetime shooter to pass down if thats the case.

These are going to get to be harder to get, even Crosman isn't making them anymore and the wood stopped in 2015 (I think) and went to plastic for a few more years. It isn't going to go down in value thats for sure.

Warning: It comes to you Unloaded, With 1 pump of air on it, Bolt pulled and ready to fire safety on, as it should always be stored to keep all seals tight.
