1x Custom Neon Hex Camo Air Brushed Gamo. 1x Gamo Scope(Brand New). 1x 10 shot cartridges(used). 22 Pellets tin 200ct(new).
This listing is for a Custom Air Brushed Gamo Swarm Magnum 10X Gen3i - 10 Shot inertia fed Air Rifle. Comes with standard Gamo scope which is actually unused. I got this rifle a little after it came out. Then a few months later I got the newer pro version(which I don't even really like). Shortly after purchasing I decided to air brush it with a layering technique using sticker stencils.
I decided on using a hex camo pattern. Choose neon Turquoise, neon Pink, neon Raspberry, & a bit of Neon purple. Started by sanding it down a tiny bit to prepare the surface & then painting it black.
Let it dry for a few days. Then put down most the stencils & sprayed it pure white.
Allowed to dry for a day. Then covered the white with neons in a camo pattern while also adding the rest of the stencils in between those shades. Then i carefully removed all the stencils. Allowed it to dry for a few more days. Then I used a 2k clear coat & allowed the rifle to dry for another week.
Decided not to buff it. It's already very smooth, & I liked the lil extra grip the dots provide. I've spray painted & air brushed many things. Far too many to count.
My biggest issue has always been the clear coat. It is never durable enough.
They will last if you spray enough & properly prep, but it still allows neons to fade & always starts to chip away/come off. The clear coat I used is very durable. Although it's extremely toxic to spray which makes it inconvenient. Doesn't seem like it will ever unintentionally come off. But if you need a clear coat to last, it's worth the hassle.
Out of the 400+ listings I have created in the last few months, this rifle is the most difficult to part with. I absolutely love the way it looks mounted on my wall.
I'm worried my next attempt will never be this nice. Also looks crazy under blacklight / blue light if you're into that sorta thing. It is over 500 FPS. If you are interested in having me paint a specific rifle in a custom pattern, with your choice of colors. I have never done a specific design for anyone before, but I'm sure we could figure it out.
